About

I am a local personal chef that provides delicious, healthy food to my clients. I only use fresh ingredients. Some of the cuisines my clients enjoy are Italian, Cuban, Colombian, Asian, Vegetarian and Vegan to name a few. I love meeting new people and sharing my passion for cooking!

I am a chef and dietitian and I love being able to bring clients great, delicious food. I have been cooking for people for 10 years and never consider it a job! Meeting new people and seeing the joy on their faces when they taste my food is so rewarding! Being a dietitian also allows me to help clients reach their health goals. Of course, if you are looking for something a little decadent or sweet, I can also cater large functions and provide delicious desserts. Check out my website www.cookiesonthelane.com. Would love to hear from you!

I grew up loving to cook in an Italian neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. I always dreamed of making food my profession, so when had the opportunity to go back to college in my 30's, I jumped at the chance!  I completed my BS in Food and Nutrition and became a dietitian working in hospitals, private consulting and in kitchens. It was very rewarding to help people become more healthy through food. A few years later, I went to culinary school and rounded out my education, opened up a catering company  and began cooking privately for clients.

All types...professional colleagues, family, friends and referrals. Family has always proven to be the most challenging!

The first wedding that we catered was special. It was small and intimate, but the the food and cake had to be perfect. It is to date one of the events I am most proud of.

Make sure you meet them...sit down with them and make a connection. Get as many details about the event and their expectations as possible. Be professional and pleasant.

Make sure their expectations match their budget.
