What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new client our 1st goal is to gather information on what our client's vision is. We ask alot of questions so we can incorporate any theme, decor specialty items, etc. Not only does this help decide our set up, but also gives us different food ideas that pair with their vision.
We always ask what style of food they are looking for. We off suggestions on how the food should be served. (Plated/buffet/stations, etc)
It is then that we research ideas and prices to create your perfect menu.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been cooking since I was 12 yrs of age. I am self taught and through trials and tribulations I have successfully maintained my business for over 20+ years.

CFAO customizes menu's for our clients. We feel this gives them the opportunity to select a menu more suited to their needs.
How did you get started in this business?
I started catering right after 9/11. I worked in the aviation industry and was out of work. I actually sold BBQ and other meals from the back of my small SUV.
We are a small owned business who pours their heart and soul into what we do. We love meeting new people and have made many amazing friends throughout the years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
CFAO has catered for so many different people from celebrities to political groups and different organizations.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We have catered everything from baby showers to funerals. We catered an event was for 400 people mourning the loss of a FL State Trooper. It was not my most recent event but the most humbling event by far.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask alot of questions, make sure there are no hidden costs or fees that will be added to your invoice. See if they can provide pictures or references for you.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
You need to have a basic idea of what you are wanting served. Creating a menu can really be overwhelming. It can also get pricey if you are not properly guided correctly when selecting your menu.
