What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have an initial conversation with the customer to learn their preferences, then we build a menu from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learned catering from working in a family business. Cooking is an art that I studied and perfected over the years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I can price per person for a small group, or as a personal chef for 1 or 2 guests. I also have an extensive catering menu priced for small to large groups I can send to customers.
How did you get started in this business?
I cooked for a family catering business several years back. People come from everywhere to eat my food...friends, family, neighbors. It was time to start charging for my talent and services. I enjoy cooking and serving others.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Personal chef to coupkes, corporate lunches and dinners, drop and go buffet foid for parties.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Themed Christmas party. Fun people, happy event and took many of my cards to passout to friends and family.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Hire someone who is personable, loves to cook and serve and shows it.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What tyoe of food tgey want, how many courses, appetizers and/or desseet? Ask what is included with pricing.. For example, is it buffet style, serving banquet style to seated guests or maybe even drop and go disposable flatware and trays. Do you want server/s even if it is buffet style? Do you need dishes, napkins, condiments, etc?
