We love weddings! And we love seeing young couples give their lives to each other in marriage. So our goal is to facilitate as a Wedding Chaplin or Officiant the best possible experience for YOU and your guest. It's a BIG DAY! So let's do it well.
Yes, it's about the wedding and you! So we have worked with Christians, Atheist, Unbelievers, just whoever... We want to deliver a quality service which is fun, to the point and personable. It's our goal that YOU and your guest leave feeling they have had a great "experience" - - not just been apart of "ceremony".
The lead pastor of our church, Pastor Trent, has been in ministry for 12 years. He is married with 5 children. Typically, he and his wife can attend if that's best for the wedding party. Or he alone can serve.
We have 3 very clear, yet editable, wedding formats for you to chose from. We have found over the years that having a clear, to the minute and to the task, written detailed plan is helpful. These choices can be emailed to the bride or wedding planner who can then edit to their liking. We are also willing to accept other wedding plans.
We would be so honored to serve you! Also, our Pastor is not only a pastor, but he's also a notary. So the marriage application will be a piece of cake to have filed and approved.
We live within minutes from the best beaches in America, so the venue and possibilities are second to none. Your day will be amazing. And we would be thrilled to serve you whether you are a local or if you're planning an amazing destination wedding.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, we like to talk on the phone or meet in person for our intro meeting. This is just a moderate length conversation. It's primarily to meet you, but also to be sure we get our intake completed. The intake helps us know that we get the necessary information so that your wedding goes great! (i.e. names of participants, names of family to recognize, etc.) You're welcome to text or email from there. Calls are also available.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters Degree in Theology which includes courses and a practicum involving counseling, role expectations, a view of marriage, public speaking, etc.
I am a former general practice and family lawyer which helps me serve well in pre-marriage counseling (if requested).

Professional Wedding Package - $375 without Premarital Counseling; $550 with Premarital Counseling (*This is a firm price, but is subject to the time and expense restrains referenced below)
Details:
Intro Meeting - No charge ($0). This meeting is designed to get to know you and to complete our intake form. It's intended to last 1 hour or less.
Pre-marriage Counseling - $75/session with 3 sessions of 1 hour recommended, but none required. (Additional to package $375 package, but included in $550 package)
Wedding Planning Meetings (if requested) - $50 if local, expenses if travel beyond 20 miles is required. This is designed to help the bride who may be using a friend or family member as wedding planner/coordinator. The intent is to review our 3 formats for the wedding and ceremony in detail. We will pick a format and discuss your tailored details within that format.
Rehearsal - Included with the Package if less than 1 hour. An additional $50/hour beyond 1 hour if local, expenses and time if travel beyond 20 miles is required. We will confirm the vows chosen, how the ceremony should proceed and go through the ceremony at least once, preferably twice.
A-Preferred Package - - Wedding Day, Ceremony & Application Package - $375 which includes no less than 1 hour of availability before the ceremony, the ceremony and a legally completed application for your marriage license. Planner or bride will need to specify the dress expectations in advance which includes suit color, tie color, shoe color, etc.
Happy Wife, Happy Life Wedding Package - $550 which includes everything listed in the A-Preferred Package, but also includes 3 hours of premarital using our "Agree" Curriculum. This will position you to receive a discount on your marriage application.
Checks should be made payable to "Church of the Coast" and to break from being awkward, payment is requested in advance or upon arrival. (Clearly, our primary purpose is no "the money", but costs, expenses, time and expertise are involved). PayPal is also accepted.
