About

I've been officiating weddings for nearly 15 years now. I love to meet with couples and help coach them towards a life-long marriage full of hope. Creating tailor-made ceremonies and personalizing every aspect of the event is so important to me.

I love to see couples take that next step...even though it might be a little scary at the time. Talking through what a strong marriage looks like, planning the ceremony, and adding special details is really a ton of fun. It is so rewarding to see the perfect day unfold for my clients.

Steven is very easy to get along with and is all about making your special day all about you. He is very genuine and truely cares about you and your spouse. His counseling sessions are very applicable and extremely benificial. Overall, Steven is a one of a kind guy who is extremely invested in each individual person who is about to enter into this new season of life. I definately recommend him for your wedding. You will not be disappointed.

Steven was a breath of fresh air. We met him the week of our wedding but he made the ceremony so special that our guest thought he was a long time friend. He listened to everything we wanted and delivered. He also came early to meet the family which was a nice touch. I would recommend him to everyone. 10 STARS

    Frequently asked questions

I work very closely with my clients througout the entire process.  My services include an intial consultation via FaceTime, Web Meeting, or phone call.  This helps me get to know you and begin the process of making your ceremony unique and personal.  I then begin writing the ceremony for your review and approval.  If needed, we'll make adjustments so it will be just what you want!

Throughout the process I am available to you via phone, text, email, or personal meeting if travel isn't an issue.

The day of the ceremony, I arrive a minimum of an hour early to meet with you and hit any last minute details.  After the ceremony, I sign all the appropriate paperwork, licenses, etc and get them headed to the courthouse for filing!

I know that my clients put a lot of time and energy into their wedding days, and I want to make sure the ceremony portion is meaningful and memorable.

I officiated my first wedding nearly 15 years ago and I have loved helping people create meaningful memories over the years.

I've worked with lots of young couples I've known through my ministry in my home town.  Many of them I've known for 10+ years and I love to walk through what having a strong marriage looks like in their pre-marital counseling.

I also work with many people I've never met before!  Couples of all ages who are just starting out...or starting over.

I love people.  And I enjoy helping them tell their stories on their wedding day!

Recently I officiated the wedding of a couple that I met on a Monday and married the next Saturday!  It was a quick week of getting to know them, writing their wedding and communicating with them throughout the week.  The wedding turned out perfect.  From the weather, to the vows, to the special gift they presented a family member during the ceremony.  It was a beautiful day!

Take time to get to know your officiant.  The more comfortable they are with you and you are with them, the more personal your ceremony will be!

Special elements to be included in your ceremony such as music, communion, gifts, unity ideas, etc.

Special stories, people, family members, etc. that you want mentioned in your ceremony.

Is it important for the officiant to be present at the rehearsal?
