James was an absolute joy and an asset at our wedding. I had a lot of questions about our components before the wedding and he was very helpful and patient in explaining it to me. The day of our wedding he came in to the venue and introduced himself while I was getting ready and just helped my now Husband feel at ease. He brought everything we needed. He mailed our marriage license so we could just enjoy our honeymoon with one less thing to worry about. Now let’s talk about the ceremony. He could not have performed better in my opinion. He fit in plenty of tasteful jokes that not only calmed our nerves but made our guests laugh. Many guests mentioned how great he was after the ceremony. If you or anyone you know is looking for an officiant, then save yourself the trouble and just hire him. You will not regret it, I promise!

    Frequently asked questions

Once the couple has posted their deposit, I will work with the couple...usually the bride...to prepare a detailed script of the ceremony so you don't actually need me at the rehearsal. I can attend but there is an added fee to do so. We will make this the best day ever. I will suggest ideas but the couple has the final say so. It's kind of like Burger King...you CAN and WILL "have it your way." LOL

I am a licensed and ordained minister and have performed well over 1,100 weddings so far...and most of all....I love what I do!!! :)

If you receive a quote that is lower, please allow me the opportunity to meet or beat it. I am very reasonable and considerate and will usually do whatever it takes to have the honor of assisting you on your special day. Please ask about special discounts for Military Members, Veterans and First Responders. Deposit/Payments can be made via Zelle, Apple Pay, Cash App, Venmo, or by calling your credit/debit card info in. A great light from Heaven knocked me off my horse...no, I think it was while I was walking on water...no, maybe it was just a small voice that told me to do what I do :)  Tell you the rest later. LOL

Most commonly I provide Christian, Non-Denominational, and Non-Religious wedding officiant services and, upon request, I can provide premarital counseling and even assist with the planning/coordination of the actual wedding. Although I respect others' choices, I do not perform same-sex ceremonies. It is just what is in accordance with my faith and my beliefs.

Two special ceremonies stand out to me. Although every ceremony has its special moments, the first extra special ceremony was one where the bride was in her wheelchair. Through her disability, she still shined so brightly and her husband is blessed to have her as his wife. The second was my first ceremony behind prison walls. He was due to be released and all through his time of incarceration, his childhood love stood by him and was waiting for him to be released for them to start their new life together as one. There are many more but these two are just the different ones that stood out in my mind today.

Don't just look at the price quote when making a decision. Don't forget...you get what you pay for. Check out the Officiant's reviews and ask plenty questions. There are no stupid questions. If you want a professional, then I'm your man. I may be a little more expensive but you don't get a redo on your wedding day so you have to have it done right the first time...and I'm your man that can and will do that. I try to keep my fees competitive so if you get one that is lower than mine, let me know and I will do my best to meet or beat it. Don't be afraid to ask me anything.

Customers should think about who they want to perform their wedding prior to placing a request on this site. We, as officiants, have to pay to send quotes so those who are testing the waters or just thinking about getting married can end up costing us money so I strongly suggest that you ensure you have made up your mind to actually get married and have a date set. Thanks so much.
