Hello my name is Angel! I’m the proud founder of Northern Roots, Southern Soul a soul food corporation that blends the heart of the South with the rich culture of the North. Our concept is more than just food it’s a full-circle experience rooted in heritage, hospitality, and home-cooked flavor.

Working with me means working with someone who values people just as much as the plate. I’ve spent over 25 years leading and mentoring others from managing large teams in education to coaching and organizing impactful community programs. I bring that same energy and dedication into every decision for this business. You’ll find that I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and deeply committed to creating a soulful dining experience that makes every guest feel like family.
