About
You won't be able to talk with me for very long before you hear me talk about my faith. I am NOT in the closet on this issue. I am a sinner saved by grace. Most people commonly refer to believers like myself as Christians. I am grateful for all God has done for me and wish to honor Him with my talents. I seek to love the Lord with all my heart and serve others before myself.
30+ years of teaching Bible Study classes for k-12, college/career, and adult (including serving as a youth pastor and ordination in the Christian church)
Providing training and leadership for students in High School and College.
Developing training programs, workbooks, and video productions.
Writing and publishing several books with various authors and co-author.
I thank God for all He has done and is continuing to do in this passion of the heart. I tend to focus on projects relating to Faith and Family issues. I am the parent of a special needs child, coach my other daughter with her online schooling, teach with my wife at our local church, and understand the struggles of those living with disabilities.
Currently completing my Th.D at Covington Theological Seminary
I am blessed to continually find work that I enjoy and that serves my local community. I love reading the Scriptures and teaching. It has been my joy to continue my studies and earn various certificates and degrees. Four years ago I was honored with a Doctorate of Divinity (D.D.). I most recently received a scholarship to continue my higher education with a focus on Disability Ministry. God has been so good to me. I continue to teach and preach online daily.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
A standard fee for officiating a wedding usually ranges from $200 to $600 (Gratuity is always appreciated). Premarital counseling, custom scripts, and/or a rehearsal increase the cost. However, because of the issues from last few years, I'm currently offering a 2024 DISCOUNT SPECIAL for anyone booked through FASH in 2024 (and who is willing to provide me a FASH review upon completion). The first 24 weddings booked will receive a 24% DISCOUNT off their entire bill.
PLUS any couple who recommends me for service (and their referral books a date/time) I'm currently offering a $25 bonus. If you refer enough people, you could get married for FREE.
A 50% percent deposit is normally requested at the time of booking to secure the date and time. The remainder is due two weeks BEFORE the wedding date.
How did you get started in this business?
I've spent over 16 years in higher education and seminary. I am currently pursuing my second doctorate. As an ordained minister, I started off performing weddings and funerals for family and friends. After a referral from another pastor, I began working with the Ringgold Wedding Chapel and local country clubs. I've met couples on Hilton Head Island, in Mexico, and in Ohio. It is my honor to serve you.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Local referrals through word of mouth, local wedding chapels, country clubs, my seminary, and now with FASH. I typically don't do any advertising. I rely on God's leading.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There are so many choices to consider these days. I love the small and intimate settings available to couples today. I also work with couples on short notice. I met and married my wife within 13 months (and that was 30 years ago). I love serving couples in their twenties or eighties (or anywhere in between). When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I highly recommend premarital counseling before marriage. Most couples spend more time and money on the wedding and honeymoon, thinking they will live "happily ever after." Sadly, that's not the case. 82% of couples want to marry for life, yet the divorce rate continues to rise. Couples are 31% less likely to divorce with premarital counseling. It allows the couple to discuss issues with an impartial third-party counselor and address struggles they may (or may not have) considered before their big day. As a Certified Christian Counselor, I offer both premarital and post-wedding counseling. I also strive to help couples with marriage mentorships for their new life together.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Determine the timeframe and budget you would like to stick to ahead of time. Weddings can become quite expensive. It's good to have a goal and try to stick to it. Since I do a large volume of weddings every year, and my wife has also worked in the business providing flower arrangements and makeup artistry for over 20 years, I'm happy to assist couples so that everything runs smoothly on the day of your joyful union.
