Rabbi Edward Friedman is happy to meet with couples and help them create meaningful, traditional Jewish wedding ceremonies at home, in the synagogue, or at a venue of your choice. As a Conservative rabbi, Rabbi Friedman, does not perform interfaith marriages, but will officiate at weddings of Jewish couples, including same sex partners. The rabbi has a strong, melodious voice and can fulfill the cantorial duties as well as serve as officiating rabbi. Serving a congregation in Aurora, IL, the rabbi is available for services throughout the Chicagoland area.
It is a special joy to meet with couples and learn more about them and how they want to make their day unique. Working within the framework of the traditional marriage ceremony, we have incorporated music, special customs, memorials, and always thoughts from both partners shared under the huppah. I am happy to help you to create that very special day that you will remember for a lifetime.
