Larger events with will result in a contract signing to protect both the client, and our production staff. Chef may hold a tasting meeting with the client, depending on the size of the event.

Our Chef has a culinary and pastry certification through Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, and has worked in the restaurant industry for 15 years. Prior to beginning his own catering company, his prior leadership roles as Chef include; Big Woods Pizza Company, Upland Brewing Company, Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers, and The Fountain Square Theatre Building.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make the initial contact early. Allow your professional time to plan and converse with their client. The most memorable events are a direct result of organized time management and collaboration.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
1. What is my actual budget for the service?
2. Am I open to creative interpretation from the professional?
3. Do my expectations reflect what I am willing to budget for the service?
4. It’s okay to be clueless. Establish a relationship with your professional early on, this will allow the ‘trust piece’ to manifest itself naturally, and you won’t have to worry about whether or not you’re being scammed.
5. Last-minute ALWAYS costs more - otherwise you’re going to have to settle for amateur services.
