Dr. John Barton

My name is Pastor John Barton and I have the privilege of pastoring at Living Life Church in Lafayette, Louisiana. My wife Lori and I have been married for over six years, and together we have twin toddler boys with another beautiful blessing due January 2024.

With over sixteen years of pastoral experience, I am a nondenominational licensed and ordained minister, with a doctorate degree from Christian Life School of Theology Global based out of Columbus, Georgia.

Outside of ministering to God’s people each week and sharing hope to the world, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I believe that marriage is the first institution designed by God and should be held in high esteem. While marriage is the basic foundation of the family unit, family is the basic foundation of any healthy society.

Marriage truly is a gift that should be cherished, and it is an amazing blessing ordained by God. I would love the honor of officiating your wedding and evoking God’s blessing on your union.
