About
I'm a local business in the DMV area my career started out as a Culinary school graduate of Stratford University. Upon completing Culinary school I have worked in the industry for over 18 years at some of the top hotels and restaurants in the DMV to include Ritz Carlton Washington, D.C., Fish by Jose Andres, Cut by Wolfgang Puck, and now pre-pandemic as Banquet Sous for the new Conrad Hilton in Washington D.C. I started Esculent 11 Catering during the pandemic as a means of income when my field was tragically hit hard. I aspire to be a well known local catering company in the DMV as I'm a true Washingtonian.
At Esculent 11 Catering my motto is meals are best prepared with passion. I truly live by this motto being in this industry as long as I have been one thing you need in order to succeed is a passion for it. If you do not have a passion for the food you are preparing and this industry with all that comes with it your destined to fail.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process of working with new customers is simple Preference, Flavor, and Presentation. What are my clients preferences with food the foods they really would like to try as well as the ones they want me to stay clear of. Flavor choices sweet, spicy, mild. Lastly presentation how would the client like the event to be presented plated, buffet style, butler horderveours. Once these three things are decided on and the menu options. Clients then are sent an invoice via my company to pay by credit card. I also have various quick app forms of payment such as Cashhapp and Venmo.
