-He was honored to be able to cook at the Jame's Beard House in New York City for Dinner in the Dark in 2016.

-Preferred caterer for the Visitor Dugout at Progressive Field and has catered for many MLB teams.

We live for food.  Researching different cooking styles, to rolling gnocchi, to searing the perfect scallop all continues to feed the desire we have to cook and serve meals.  We love seeing a small dinner party light up with smiles when they see the plates and hear the description all the way to a banquet room of hundreds to experience thoughtfully crafted entrees instead of the usual suspects.  We enjoy sharing our passion with those who share that interest of fine food, fine meals, and fine memories.

How did you get started in this business?

Christopher Kafcsak fell in love with the food industry at an early age.  He began his love of food through wholesale when he began working at the Northern Ohio Food Terminal at the age of 4 with his father Ken of Kay Gee Produce.  As he grew up Chris bounced between wholesale food and cooking while obtaining a Business Degree and Culinary Arts Degree from Cuyahoga Community College. Chris helped run Caito Brothers Produce and Premier Produce while maintaining jobs at restaurants including Creekside and Pizzeria Cerino working under Eddie Cerino, AMP 150 working under Ellis Coolis and Melissa Khoury, Crop Bistro working under Mitch Keener, Washington Place Bistro and Inn working under Melissa Khoury, and Cibreo Italian Kitchen working under Erik Martinez.
  He took on an executive chef roll at Deagan’s Kitchen and Bar in Lakewood.  Recently, Chris cooked alongside seven of the best Cleveland chefs at the James Beard House in New York City representing Dinner in the Dark. 
As he began accumulating experience from local restaurants, Chris launched his catering company, Nomad Culinary, LLC with the goal of bringing fine dining to clients’ homes, businesses, and events.  Christopher Kafcsak is a member of the Culinary Advisory Panel of Cuyahoga Community College, and will be returning to the Chef’s Council with Cleveland Eats. 

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with everyone from couples who want us to offer personal chef services all the way to major sports teams, athletes, etc.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Ask questions.  No question is stupid.

What is your overall budget?

Does that budget include staffing, food, rentals, disposables, bar mixers, etc.?

What if your ideal menu?  Since we can customize everything, we can make almost anything you can desire.
