Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Culinary Degree, many years working and training in upscale restaurants and hotels which helped me to be successful in starting my own business.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Generally, we have a $1800 minimum for any event. On site staff and 20 % service fee and sales tax is not included. That is the lowest price for the food cost, food procurement, prepping at our commercial kitchen, loading of all food and equipment and traveling to client. All on site staffing is an additional hourly charge.
How did you get started in this business?
Love and passion of all things food since I was a teenager. I still have Bon Apetit and Gourmet magazines from the 80's! Also a huge collection of cookbooks I've gathered over the years. Most from before Google was invented! Now those books are pretty much for looks in my office bookcases!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Anywhere from people who are hiring a chef for a once in lifetime treat for a special occasion to clients that entertain and hire chefs/caterers quite often .
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Please give us as much information as you're able to:
Date, location of event, what type of food you're interested in and you're approximate budget. It takes caterers and chefs time to prepare custom menus and quotes for potential clients. Please be patient for custom quotes if your event is 3 to 6 months away, we greatly appreciate that courtesy!
