Jelo Flowers & Decor

Jelo Flowers & Decor, founded in 2014 and based in Brooklyn, NY, is a wedding and event design studio serving New York City and surrounding areas. Established by Shirley, a wedding planner and floral designer, and a partner specializing in graphic and floral design, the studio focuses on personalized designs tailored to each couple’s style and budget. In 2017, the team relocated from Long Island to an expanded Brooklyn studio and added comprehensive wedding florals.

Services include fresh and silk florals; bouquets, centerpieces, arches, and aisle décor; signage and custom backdrops; invitations and stationery; and an on-site photobooth. The team also assists with venue floor plans, décor concepts, and timeline coordination to streamline event execution. Jelo creates multicultural designs aligned to preferred color palettes and themes.

With experience spanning nearly 1,000 weddings, Jelo emphasizes responsibility and safety, including precise time management, on-site coordination, and guest experience. The Brooklyn studio operates by appointment only, and the team communicates in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
