About

My name is Ashley, and I’m a mother of a teenage daughter, and a professional photographer based in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Photography is much more than a career for me—it is a passion and a huge part of my life. I love capturing the moments that matter and creating photographs that allow people to hold onto those memories for a lifetime.

While I specialize in dirt track racing photography, my experience extends far beyond the racetrack. I also enjoy photographing engagements, weddings, maternity sessions, newborns, families, individuals, animals, events, and sports. No matter what I’m photographing, my goal is always the same: to capture genuine moments and create images my clients will be proud to treasure.

I began pursuing photography professionally in 2018, when I also earned my photography certification. I started my racing photography journey at Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee, Oklahoma, before spending the next couple of years photographing at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oktaha. Halfway through my first racing season at Outlaw, I was given the opportunity to become the track photographer at Creek County Speedway in Kellyville for five years.

Over the years, my work has been published and featured through OCRS, ASCS Sprints, NOW600, USRA Modifieds and B Modifieds, USMTS, well as in Bryke Racing Magazine. I have also been invited to photograph some incredible racing events, including the Tulsa Shootouts, the Chili Bowl Nationals in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and the Gateway Dirt Nationals in 2022.

I take a very technical and detail-oriented approach to my work. I’m constantly learning, improving, and pushing myself to create the best images possible. I believe my clients deserve nothing less than my very best, whether I’m photographing a race car flying around the track, a couple celebrating their love, a growing family, a senior milestone, or a once-in-a-lifetime event.

One of my favorite parts of photography is knowing that the images I create can become memories people keep for years to come. I genuinely care about my clients and want every person I work with to be happy with their experience and their photographs. If something isn’t right, I will always do my best to make it right.

For me, photography is about more than taking pictures. It’s about preserving moments, telling stories, and creating memories that can be cherished for a lifetime.

    Frequently asked questions

My process starts with getting to know the client and understanding exactly what they’re looking for. I discuss the type of session or event, their vision, location, date, preferred style, and any specific moments or details they want captured. Once we’ve discussed their needs, I help plan the session and make sure we’re both on the same page about expectations. On the day of the session, I focus on creating a comfortable and relaxed environment while giving direction when needed and capturing natural, genuine moments. After the session, I carefully select and edit the best images using professional editing software. I then deliver the finished photographs in a timely manner. My goal throughout the entire process is to provide clear communication, a positive experience, and photographs that my clients will be proud to have and enjoy for years to come.
I have a diploma in photography and professional photography certification, along with more than 8 years of hands-on experience in the photography industry. My training and experience include portrait, family, senior, newborn, maternity, wedding, sports, event, school, and dirt track racing photography. I am also experienced in professional photo editing using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. My continued hands-on work with clients and a wide variety of photography situations has helped me develop strong skills in lighting, composition, posing, action photography, editing, and client communication.
I try to make the prices affordable to everyone
I’ve worked with a wide variety of clients, including families, couples, seniors, brides and grooms, newborns, expecting mothers, athletes, racing teams, businesses, schools, and event organizers. I also have extensive experience working with dirt track racing and sports clients, where capturing fast-paced action and important moments is essential. I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds and making each client feel comfortable and confident in front of my camera.
One of the types of events I’m most fond of photographing is dirt track racing. I love the energy, excitement, and unpredictability of being at the track and capturing those split-second moments that competitors and their families can look back on. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph at multiple Oklahoma dirt tracks and have had my work published through racing organizations and publications. Being able to combine my love of photography with the racing community is something I’m especially proud of.
My biggest advice is to choose a photographer whose style and personality are a good fit for you. Look through their portfolio, ask questions, and make sure they understand what you want from your session or event. Photography is about more than simply taking pictures—it’s about capturing genuine emotions, important details, and memories that you’ll want to keep for years. A good photographer should make you feel comfortable while also paying attention to the little moments that make your story unique.
Before reaching out to a photographer, customers should think about what type of photos they want, the purpose of the session, the date and location, how many people will be involved, and any specific moments or details they want captured. It can also help to have an idea of their preferred photography style, how they plan to use the images, and their budget. Most importantly, think about what you want to remember from your session or event. Don’t be afraid to share your ideas, ask questions, or explain what is important to you. A professional photographer can help guide you through the process and make recommendations based on your needs.
