About
Hi! I’m Chef Motley. I’m a passionate culinary professional with over 14 years of experience. Cooking has been a lifelong love, offering a space for my creativity and most of all, my peace. I am a graduate of IUP Culinary in Punxsutawney, PA, My journey includes working at the prestigious Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, followed by a return home to Philadelphia where I explored various roles in catering and restaurants to find my culinary voice.
A standout role at Grand Lux Café, where I mastered all stations and specialized as a Saucier, was a turning point. I later refined my skills in high-end banquet presentation at the Sheraton Hotel. Drawing from all my experiences, I decided to launch Fon Dining Catering, a highly successful home-based business known for innovative, ever-changing menus that consistently served 50–100 people daily.
Seeking further growth, I became an Executive Chef at a catering company, gaining valuable leadership skills in delegation, team management, and consistency. Now, after years of preparation, I am ready to take the next step in my culinary journey: becoming a private chef.
