The Chef: Art Wilson,started his culinary career as an apprentice chef at the age of thirteen at his godfathers barbecue soul food restaurant. By the time he was sixteen years old, he was running the entire kitchen every day after school. This opportunity taught him basic culinary skills; it also allowed him to realize that cooking is also a way to explore creativity. There are multiple nationalities in the Pacific Northwest region of Seattle Washington, which makes for a unique environment. Growing up there made it easy to experience other cultures, foods, flavors, preparations, and techniques. This unique perspective on food and culture gave Art the ability to develop one of kind recipes with distinctive flavors.
