My name is Debra, aka, ChefDebideee. The name of my business is Twogirlsandadish Catering. I've always had a passion to feed people! It's fulfilling to hear people say, they love my food! I am licensed/certified to cook/cater. I have pictures and reviews on my Facebook page under Debra Smith, from Dixmoor, Il. I prepare a variety of foods that are seasoned to perfection and from the heart. My food has an elegance in presentation, flavor and color! My portions are extremely generous. When people taste and see my food, they always say they can see the passion on the plate and they can see the food is made with love. Coming straight from the heart to the plate! I'm utilizing the gift God gave me.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After meeting new customers, I ask if they have looked at my reviews and if they have checked out my business on Facebook! I allow the customer to tell me what exactly it is that they will need. When will they need it. How many people and what is the expectation? Once the request has been made and all details have been laid out, we discuss cost and one the agreement has been confirmed verbally, a contract is signed and a deposit is made.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I became licensed and certified in Texas and Chicago. I've trained under Chef Bond of the Cooking School of New Orleans. Chef Bond was a televised Chef, is a Private Chef, Cooking Instructor and Professional Catering Tutor.

Most of my meals are lunch or dinner plates for lunch hour workers or family and couple dinners.
My lunch and dinner plates are $10.50
If dinner plates consists of large shrimp or expensive fish or steaks, the cost is $12.50 per plate.
How did you get started in this business?
I used to live in Chicago and I entertained all the time. I cooked my own food. Guests would enjoy the food and started asking me to cater food for their events. I decided to take some training classes and to become licensed to cook//cater/service people. I love it!
