About
Our niche is personalized wedding ceremonies. We officiate many interfaith weddings, hand-fastings, both large and intimate wedding ceremonies. We also do elopement in our lovely home or backyard. We also enjoy waterfall and nature-inspired locations as we are avid hikers.
I love meeting new couples, hearing their stories, working together to find just the right material to create a personalized ceremony that will be appropriate for them, their families and guests. We have a wealth of material to share, but want to nail it down to what will work for each couple. I enjoy assisting to create a deeply satisfying wedding experience, helping to calm any jangled nerves and take care of last minute details. And I enjoy meeting family and friends.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet with couples at our home or via Skype to develop just the right ceremony for your wedding day. We offer the possibilities and couples choose what they feel suits them. We have no agenda - it’s your ceremony. You have final edit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yehudah is a nurse while Joanie is a dance ethnologist, hence her interest in your cultural background. Joanie has helped couples choreograph their first dance. We are both Compassionate Listening Facilitators with compassionatelistening.org. We listen well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our price depends on location, number of guests, if you want us to lead a rehearsal, if we are co-officiating with another minister. We offer couples a sliding scale.
