About

Hi my name is Trinity aka the Amen chef When I was 9 years old I started my first business Trinity’s Treasures in which I made hand crafted beaded bracelets. I used half of the money I made to provide social activities for the elderly group home residents. I would do things like taking them out to the movies, treating them to lunch and snacks. Sometimes I would actually go to their house and bake cakes for them and even paint their nails while we waited for the cake to bake. It was so much fun for them and for me.

When my grandmother became sick my interest in cooking became a passion as I would go to her house and cook lots of different foods for her. It was then that I perfected my special grilled cheese sandwiches. My brothers loved those sandwiches because I would add different things to it.

My passion and cooking skills increased as I would be in the kitchen with my grandparents and my mom watching them cook things like pasta, chicken, jambalaya and so many different things. When I got old enough to be in the kitchen by myself I started making a lot of different dishes that my family had never experienced before such as salmon lasagna rolls and different kinds of homemade pasta sauces and wing sauces. I made a lot of different things, but my family’s favorite is my seafood dip and my famous chocolate chip cookies.

I enjoyed cooking so much that I started making TicToks and posting my food preparations so that others could see how passionate I am about cooking. It is that passion and developing expertise that led me to start “COOKING with TRIN”. It has been through my lifelong connection to my church family that the Amen Chef evolved. Just as I’ve used my talent for fundraising at my church by selling fresh homemade lemonade and homemade ice cream I also want to cook more for the elderly because some of them don’t have families to prepare them a good home cooked meal. My desire is to expand COOKING with TRIN and try to get the AMEN CHEF out there.
