I love my job! I love to make women feel beautiful, and men confident! Building, keeping and growing each relationship with each guest is an amazing part of this job! When you love what you do so much itβs not considered a job!! There's nothing more satisfying then when a guest feels their best. We have so many guests come to us when they have had their hair messed up, and I love to take on jobs like this. I have the patience to do what needs to be done, and I refuse to cut corners. I make it very clear that nobody in my salon, including myself will ever take advantage of a guest. We do all color services as per manufacturer's directions so that you get the best results! A very detailed consultation begins EVERY visit! Actually listening to what each guest has to say, then customizing their service around that. We take your wants, hair type and condition, lifestyle, maintenance plan, budget, and your needs into full consideration with EVERY service!

We are not the most expensive salon, but we are not the cheapest. We spend a lot of time and money on our education and training so that our skills are at the top of the industry! We work with EVERY guest’s budget and create maintenance plans for every type of lifestyle. All services are priced with a transparent system. We utilize the VISH Color Management system to keep our color prices fair and consistent. This system separates the cost of part and labor. The labor prices will differ based on the stylist you are seeing. Each stylist is at a level within our business systems with set prices for each service based off of experience, education, and clientele. The parts portion in this system measures out the amount of color used on you down to a tenth of a gram. You are charged a wholesale color charge. These charges are shown separately during checkout, can be seen within your account, and is on all itemized receipts.
How did you get started in this business?
I’ve been a stylist for 28 years and have been an educator for 16 years with Redken who is the leading Haircare and Haircolor company. A little over a year ago I became an Ambassador for Donna Bella Hair Extensions.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with everyone from college students, stay at home moms, business professionals, and corporate executives to runway and print models, celebrities, and other high end clients. A clients occupation, background, race, religion, financial status, or anything else matters as to the level of service they receive, prices charged, or expierence given. All clients are equal and are our main concern! We focus on quality over quantity!! As an owner I am extremely strict on not scheduling enough time for services for each guest, making sure ALL new guests receive a consultation time before services begin, and if at anytime a guest requires another consultation for new services they may want or are interested in, or if a guest just needs more time with us. We will NEVER herd guests in and out of our salon, or rush a guest just to get to the next one. You will ALWAYS feel special here and never just like another number!

Accepting the Best Of Birmingham Hair Salon Of 2019 was a huge honor! The fact that our guests took time out of their day to vote for us everyday for a few weeks means so much!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Gather pictures of what you like but also if what you do not like! No two people see color the same, or can describe shapes the same. Ask questions! This is your hair, your look, and YOUR money! You have the right to ask as many questions as you want! We conduct online / over the phone pre-consultation conversations before all new guests visit us.
