Out of a mutual love for all things David Bowie, Fame Salon LLC was born. My name is Frankie. Im a Wife, Mother and Stylist/Colorist. I, along with my suitemate, Di, opened the doors to our salon suite in November 2017. I offer various haircutting and haircoloring services. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to conduct a free consultation before our first service. We can discuss a plan of action and talk about color formulation and I can answer any questions you might have
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a licensed cosmetologist through the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology. I've been doing hair professionally for over 5 yrs but I believe continued education is vital for this field, so I am forever a student.

How did you get started in this business?
I was in the medical field before my youngest daughter was born and stayed home to raise her until she started school. I loved the med field but I felt drawn toward a more artistic direction. With the encouragement of friends and family I started my journey in the beauty industry. I've never been happier.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My clients I call friends and they are diverse. My salon is a welcoming space for everyone. I control the music and we can match your vibe.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I've had the honor to beautify brides and prom queens, and watch how transformation of hair can make someone feel amazing. That's why I love what I do. I live for the reveal!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look for a connection. Go to a stylist that you can communicate with and who is able to create your vision.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How many appt are necessary to reach your hair goal. How much money or time are you willing to invest in obtaining your desired style. How much maintenance are you willing to commit to. How often do you want to be in the salon.
