What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening is the first step. Repeating back what I think you're looking for, and then moving forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am dually licensed for cosmetology and barbering. While going to school I took outside courses for advanced haircutting at technical school. Eventually I assisted in teaching and now go to hairshows to preform with them. I continue to keep taking classes from other resources because I like learning.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Find someone who cares about your hair as much as you do, from any level of care, style, or maintenance. And artist should be able to compliment your overall look, not have you second guessing in the mirror.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
I dont think the questions are the problems. Its more about what your stylist thinks you want and are they really listening you. And realizing your goal may not be achievable in one session.
