There are so many joys to working on events. In particular, the challenges and obstacles that one may have to overcome on a special event and the ability to meet that chalenge -- even exceeding your clients expectations.
Working with suppliers and the entire production team to create a truly successful and extraordinary event is something we enjoy about our work.
The variety of projects -- from grand openings and product launches to networking functions and customer appreciation events, the scale and scope is often different. Two days may never entail the same.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ascertain the customer's goals and objectives, as well as vision and ideas for the function. We listen and then present concepts and make suggestions that are compatible with the customer's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our company has been a professional event firm for more than 31 years. We have backgrounds in design, advertising, event planning, marketing, art and creative design.
In addition to serving as a speaker at industry conferences and guest speaker at California State University Long Beach, I have a Masters degree in Organizational Communications, and Bachelor of Arts in Advertising, both from Michigan State University.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing varies based on the scale and scope of the project, as well as how much or how little a client may want us to take on. For example, some client might want us to produce the entire event whereas others might just call upon us to design and create decor.
How did you get started in this business?
We launched our company solely producing floats for the annual Tournament of Roses Parade. As we grew, we received more requests to do special events. We then transitioned away from the Rose Parade to solely designing and staging events.
One of Bravo Productions' breakout moments was working on a Super Bowl game. That was the launch of his professional career in the events industry.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our client base includes corporations, associations, municipalities, government agencies, non-profits and military. We also stage some functions for the social market.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Do your homework, ask questions and get everything in writing. In addition, solicit bids, but don't base your decision on the lowest bid. That may cost you in the long run.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Some questions include:
What is the date of your event? Is there any flexibility with your event date?
What is the type of event?
What is the start and end time of your function?
How many guests are you expecting?
What are your audience demographics? Age range? Male/female ratio? If corporate, are attendees veterans in their industry or newcomers/entry level?
What are ideas for food & beverage? Is it a sit-down dinner, buffet, cocktail party heavy on the appetizers? Is it a full-hosted bar or beer/wine?
Is there a theme? If so, what is the theme?
Do you need help in selecting a site, selecting and contracting suppliers? Will the event be hosted indoors or outdoors?
Do you have a budgetary parameter?
These are just a few considerations.
