Shekinah Wedding and Event Planning Services is established with sincerity and my spiritual calling to serve others. Every event is planned with my personal high expectations to provide great service to my clients.
Event planning has been my passion for over 20 plus years. I have successfully completed two wedding & event planning certificate programs and a wedding etiquette certificate program. I have a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership, Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Associate of Arts degree in General Studies, Certificate in Project Management, Certificate in Human Resources Management, White and Yellow Belt in Six Sigma, and a Certificate in Conflict Resolution.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First: Ice breaker conversation introducing myself and my background in event planning. Clients generally open up and share about themselves.
Second: Ask how I can be of assistance to making their event enjoyable and memorable for them.
Third: Listen! Give my full attention to my clients as they share their visions for their event. Take notes. Hold my questions until clients are done sharing.
Fourth: Ask questions pertinent to customers vision for clarification and alignment.
Fifth: Inquire on their budget. Establish financial worksheet based on category needs.
Sixth: Schedule follow-up appointment to present suggested brief storyboard established from initial consultaion. If interested in Shekinah Wedding and Event Planning Services, present cost, contract, and create/schedule additional appointment timeline.
