Based in the San Francisco Bay area, I have over a decade of experience as a director of photography, camera operator and editor. At Bay Area Camera Guy, we will take the time to talk with clients to understand their video needs and communicate a stratagy to achive your goal. We take pride in our cinematography, paying attention to every detail to help bring out those special moments in video. Our video equipment is second to none.
At Bay Area Camera Guy, we will always put the customer first. We want to understand client's target audience and find what will appeal to them. Taking the extra time and steps ensures that client is happy with video project and we can look back and be proud of what we did for them.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We take the time to find exactly what the customer is looking for from their video project. We offer suggestions and guidlines to help reach their goal, all while keeping them posted of things along the way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Havinng worked in television newsrooms most of my career, I'm used to working as a member of a strong team unit and adapt well to new work flows and environments, as well as diverse styles of shooting and editing
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Our rates are competitive and includes an extensive kit as part of my hire fee. My kit includes everything you will need for a small shoot or a large production.
While having a set price in video production is very difficult due the vast variety of equipment and costs with such equipment being brought into play.
We like to offer a price and standard set of gear that we think we will need for such a project. Then when we find out more about clients needs, we can scale up or down depending on requirements.
How did you get started in this business?
I started working as a photojournalist in television newsrooms. It exposed me to a variety of challenges necessary to maintain quality control and still make a deadline. It helped to sharpen my skills and allowed me to move forwards and upwards with my career.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions, look for sample videos from company. Owning a camera does not make anyone a professional. Without the right production team, a client can be left with a worthless file of clips.
