About
At One Hot DIsh we focus on personal attention for our clients. Although we have some suggested menus and different types of service, everything we do is custom to fit the client's need and expectation. We offer complimentary tastings and our pricing is very competative. We believe you shouldn't have to take out a second mortgage to finance a beautiful event with delicious food and excellent service.
I enjoy the act of participating in the success of an event. I enjoy being a part of a celebration or having the honor to host a meal for a celebration of life.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Greeting my client, getting to know them, determining their need, creating a menu, explaining the process of the entire event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Business Degree, Culinary Training, 15 years experience in the industry.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My clients can expect a starting range of $15 per person, however, every client's case is unique and we together create a custom menu together that works within their budget.
How did you get started in this business?
My neighbor Gail and I used to get together every weekend for the simple joy of cooking. We would work on specific menus. For example, "let's work on appetizers this weekend" Our husbands would enjoy the benefits of our creativity. Before we knew it, please were requesting us to cater their events. My partner in food became ill and wasn't able to work anymore so she cheered me on and encouraged me to move forward. I eventually quit my full time legal career and began catering full time.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work alot with law enforcement and military. My corporate clients include Wal Mart Distribution Center, Lexus, Girl Scouts of America, BNSF Railroad, Cintas, Kaiser Permanente. My private clients include some celebrities & polititions. I have catered ongoing meal deliveries for movie shoots on location, corporate meetings, many many weddings, back yard BBQ's Memorial services and birthday celebrations.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A few years ago One Hot Dish Catered the Roy Rogers Legacy Trail of 375 people. Roy & Dale's daughter Mimi was the guest of honor. The Town of Apple Valley's Sheriff, Manager and Mayor were in attendance. We were met with what they called "Devil Winds". Not open flame, BBQ on site friendly. We had to make a last mnute decision for safety purposes and BBQ'd off site in a safe location but still delivered fresh, hot food-on time!! We made the newspaper that year.
One Hot Dish also catered Wal Mart Distribution Center's Christmas party for 900 employees. Quite the task!!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
