As third-generation chef, the affinity for cooking has been instilled from a young age. Our family owned and operated restaurant, The Villa Nova on the Sunset Strip, gave me my first exposure to the fast pace and customer service driven business.
I’m currently Executive Chef at Aqua Kauai Beach Resort, overseeing all culinary operations of a 4-star resort. Prior to moving to Hawaii I was part of a team responsible for the creation of multiple concept restaurants, under the parent restaurant Sea Legs Wine Bar. At the same time, I managed all operations for the restaurant group and is administration. The PRJKT Restaurant group received multiple recognitions, including "Best California Cuisine" 4 years.
I take pride in sourcing local, fresh ingredients that highlight the riches of the neighboring communities. Innovation plays a key role in my personal drive to achieve staff participation and corporate responsibility.
I bring robust experience in operations, team management and implementing corporate training systems. Leadership is imperative to the success of my staff, I not only promote it but also lead by example. I adapt easily to change, both on the business aspect but also on the culinary environment.
