Obis kitchen iS a chef inspired catering team. The menus are personally made by Chef Obi. Chef Obi has a previous experience of working with more than 5 Michellin rated restaurants accross the globe. Chef Obi was previously the executive chef and owner of Masala street in La Jolla . Open for three years they won best Indian restaurant in San Diego by SD magazine . His food has an ethnic Indian and worldly elements . We do everything from Chinese, American , Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Korean and obviously Indian fusion.
I get to play with food and bring Indian food to greater glory than the traditional Chicken Tikka Masala. Its the joy of flavours that we celebrate through cuisine. We work with every budget and every cuisine. We go above and beyond to make sure the event is a memorable one.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Like to meet or discuss over phone about customer preferences, come up with a sample of the menu and call them for a tasting or do the tasting at their location. There on we narrow down the final selection. And maybe tune the menu to the customers preference.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree from the Culinary Institute of America, New York . I have worked in England , New York, DC, San Francisco, Sydney(Australia), and Mumbai India .

How did you get started in this business?
My father is the Legendary Master Indian Chef Hemant Oberoi (as played by Anupam Kher in the movie Hotel Mumbai) So pretty much grew up in the kitchen and have a passion for food in my blood.
