What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Because connecting with your photographer and feeling comfortable is so important, we like to start with a phone call to answer any questions you may have and to tell you a little about ourselves and what you can expect when you work with our studio. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our studio has three locations from east coast to west coast (NY, LA, San Diego). We've taught classes and workshops for Modeling to learning photography. We've been on the judges panel for pageantry, head photographer for NY Fashion week along with several other large fashion week shows. Our work has been published for magazine/online editorials and has been a recommended & featured studio for Portraits by local and regional magazine and online editiorials on both coasts. We are a reccomended photographer to hire for lessons on Lessons.com and the national Fstopper magazine. How did you get started in this business?
I started in the advertising world working in the top 5 agencies creating TV and Print ads for fortune 100 brands. Later I moved into sports photography, photographing aspiring athletes to Olympic athletes. My studio grew into photographing Dancers, then Models, working with agencies & designers then into Pageantry. Our studio now has a staff of 5 hair and make up artists and hair stylist with a studio manager and assistants in photography, video, retouching and graphic design. My business grew mostly from referrals and continues to do the same today.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Get to know who you are working with first. Visit their website (Does it look legit? Do they have a style of work that you admire?). Give the studio a call and find out how they work with clients and/or students. Find out what sort of experience they have in the field you are seeking for your project. Ask questions and make sure you feel comfortable, that is the most important.
