I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2011. During that time I have continued to refine my skills behind the chair; by providing exceptional service to my clientele and continuing my education with classes at salons and events throughout California. After working in established salons for a number of years I had the opportunity to make my vision a reality. I've created a salon space I can call my own. I love being a hairstylist and I'm so excited for us to get to know each other, and make your hair goals a reality!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 2011. I am a certified stylist with multiple lines including 'Brazilian Blowout, Pravana and JZ Styles CO. Hair Extensions' I strive to always keep up on education and know all the current trends.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always grown up around the industry. My mom was a Nail Technician and my sister was also a Comsetologist. So being the youngest I was always the one to try things on. With two of my role models both in the beauty industry I wanted to give it a try. I was 16 years old and was accepted to attend a cosmetology program in high school. I loved everything about it and knew that was what I wanted to do as well. I finished High school got my license and started working. It was such a great opportunity to get my license so young. Now I am the owner of my own hair studio " Kirstie Nichelle Hair Studio" in North County San Diego.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
To understand that everyones hair is different. Inspiration photos are great and so helpful. But everyones starting levels are different and may take multiple sessions to get there. It is my goal to get you as close to your dream hair as I possibly can, while also keeping it healthy and beautiful.
