Alec is a really good photographer because hes very personable and easy to work with. I appreciate his abilities to get things done in a time and orderly fashion and making sure things are done correctly. Hes extremely detail oriented which is great because that means I dont have to ask too many questions because he knows what I want. 10/10 photographer and photo assistant.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I become a chameleon, blending into the background as your celebration unfolds. No forced smiles, just genuine laughter, happy tears, and stolen glances – I'm there to weave them into a narrative that whispers your unique love song long after the confetti settles. It's like eavesdropping on the most beautiful story ever told and translating it into timeless photographs that echo with authenticity. So, bring me your messy moments, your dancing shoes, and your raw emotions – I'll turn them into memories you'll cherish forever.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
PPA - Professional Photographers of America
Academy of Arts University - SF (2020-21)
Trail & Error - (b.1996)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do have a standard pricing system for my services. However, the pricing can vary based on the specific needs of the customer and the scope of the project. Here is a general overview of my pricing structure:
Fixed rate: For most photography projects, I charge a Fix rate, which includes the time spent capturing images, editing, and post-processing. The Fixed rate is determined based on the complexity of the project, Supplies needed, and the level of expertise required.
Project-based pricing: For larger photography projects, such as weddings or commercial shoots, I offer project-based pricing. This includes a flat fee for the entire project, which is determined based on the scope of the project, the number of images required, and any additional services requested.
Additional services: I also offer additional services, such as prints, albums, and other customized products, which are priced separately. The cost of these services varies based on the specific product requested and the quantity ordered.
Travel expenses: If the project requires travel longer than 25 minutes of business. I charge travel expenses. These expenses include transportation, lodging, and any other related costs.
It's important to note that my pricing is flexible and can be tailored to meet the specific needs and budget of each customer.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Skip the Pinterest boards and staged smiles, friend. Find a photographer who sees the magic in the unscripted: the nervous giggle before the vows, the shared glance across a crowded dance floor, the tear your dad hides on his cheek. Someone who's as comfortable with stolen moments as posed portraits, who disappears into the background and lets your story unfold. Trust your gut, not their gear. Look for passion, not perfection. Choose the one who gets goosebumps hearing about your quirky vows and messy dance moves. That's the one who'll capture the soul of your day, not just the surface shine.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Before diving into photography dreams, take a moment to breathe and ask yourself: "What feels real to us?". Dig deep – beyond Pinterest boards and curated feeds. Is it stolen laughter during vows, kids covered in cake, or Grandma's secret smile? Imagine your day, unscripted, and pinpoint those raw, unscripted moments that make your hearts sing. Then, seek photographers who speak your language, who see beauty in the unposed, and whose passion lies in weaving your genuine story, not crafting picture-perfect scenes. Remember, it's your love story, so let your authenticity be the compass that guides you to the photographer who'll translate it into timeless memories.
