    I work with a range of clients. I do not cut mens hair. 

    Don't go cheap. You get what you pay for. 

    Are they willing to invest in their hair? If not, they should not pick a color or cut that is high maintenance. Product makes a difference. They should ask what types of products should they be using to get the best results for their hair. If you are spending money to get your hair colored, then but grocery store brand product, you are essentially flushing all that money you just spent doen the toilet.
