I hope I’m what your looking for.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consultation is key.
Send me a picture of your hair as it is currently and 3 inspo pictures of the desired cut, style and/or haircut you want to achieve. Then we can chat about the necessary steps to achive the look you want to walk our with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Cosmetology license. I get yearly training in Styling, Coloring and Cutting in the beginning of each year.
I also participate in many hairshows through out the year that allow me to execute looks under pressure as well as stay updated with the latest fashion forwards looks before they come into the salon.
In addition I teach both Stying and Color classes weekly to hairstylists all around San Diego and surrounding areas and into L.A.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
It all depends on the task at hand. The pricing system varies between the task at hand, for example $75-100/hr for a color correction vs. $65-75/hr for a woman's haircut.
How did you get started in this business?
I started when I was 17 and in Highschool. At the time my H.S. offrered me a Scholarship to any trade school because of my high GPA. In the 90's hairsdressing was a job not a career but I knew this was what I wanted to do. I almost checked the box for nursing because that's what society expected me to do; but I checked the Cosmetology box despite everyone telling me I was too smart to be a hairdresser. I am so thankful I listened to my gut because everyday I wake up to do a job I love to do.
What types of customers have you worked with?
You name it. I have worked with babies, from their 1st haircut up to them leaving for college. I have worked with working mom's, stay at home mom's, models, bussiness men, actors and actresses, grandma and grandpa, hairstylist, bloggers, traveling clients and makeup artists. I have a wide range of clientelle.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
KEVIN.MURPHY, The brand I educate for has a new initiative to go from using recycled water bottles to manufacture our packaging to exclusively use O.W.P. We are the 1st beauty brand to do this and hopefully other will follow suit.
It is very important to me that i work with a brand that is environmentally friendly. We are 100% cruelty free including our color line, we are biodigradable and recyclable, we practice wild harvesting for all our naturally derived ingredients and we have partnered with Green Circle Salon which recycles 90% of the waste in our salons.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would suggest you ask alot of questions to make sure they are the right fit for you. Make sure they listen well to your suggestions. And look at their expertise.
