What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will set up a consult with them to discuss what they envision for their event. We will go over logbooks, possible color schemes and vendors. If they want to work with plus, I will draw up a contract and we are in business!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained at a school in Dublin, Ireland. I am certified in wedding and event planning as well as party planning. My business partner has spent the last decade working in human resources and hospitality. One of her main focus is has been coordinating events for nonprofit organizations.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I generally try to assess each client individually. Here is why. I do not want to charge somebody who only is going to take me a few hours to prep for the same amount as someone who I am going to spend months on. So while I do have a General idea of what each type of event will cost, they usually all end up being different.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always been incredibly creative and loved going to events. Everything I do has to be plans and crafted down to the last detail. I grew up with a grandmother and a mother who always decorated the house magically at Christmas. Everything was just wonderful and whimsical. I inherited that.
