What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We introduce ourselves and offer a sample menu. We then work with the client to come up with the perfect menu to meet their needs. Since we have catered many events in the past, this process really works best for us!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Chef J David has over 10 years of experience in the culinary industry.
How did you get started in this business?
It all began with a young couple who were passionate for art, food and making people happy. One had been a chef for years, and had worked for various 5 star restaurants and catering companies in Los Angeles, CA. The other was an artist and loved to bake in her spare time. We decided to put their talents to use, and thus The Carnival Food Truck was born.
The idea behind the food truck was to bring fun back to the streets of Los Angeles by way of food. We had no idea that our business would grow from a food truck into a catering company that caters all sorts of events - from birthday parties and company picnics to corporate catering and weddings.
Since The Carnival Food Truck's beginning in May 2015, we have catered many events, and are more passionate than ever about our true goal.. to be the most sought after catering service in the Los Angeles area, by offering unique, flexible menus, unbeatable prices, and an overall unforgettable experience to those who need our services.
While we specialize in creative, custom catering menus, we find that most of our clients go for items we put together on our Sample Menu page. We offer wait and bar service as an added option.
Whatever your event, we can make it the most special - small or large, casual or elegant - whatever your dreams, we will make your occasion unforgettable.
We provide the highest level of service, freshly made cuisine, and delicious appetizers and desserts. You tell us what you want and we'll make it happen for you and your guests. No menu is too small or too big. Whatever your tastes, our chef will design the menu you're looking for.
Our food truck and commercial kitchen facilities makes it possible to cater to most of Los Angeles, Ventura County & surrounding cities. As an added precaution, our delivery drivers have warmers installed in their vehicles.
