What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
with a new customers I give I have a questionnaire, that asks about the clients hair history, pevious hair issues and treatments, and what the client is hoping to achieve when it comes to their hair styling or condition.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an AS in cosmetology and entrprenuership, AA in Fashion Design, Certified Medical Asst and Phlebotomist, Certified in Body Contouring. Plus over 25 years in experience!

I do have standard pricing, which is awesome for the client because the quality of work I provide is worth so much more!
$65 for a triple cleanse, deep cond, blow dry and flat iron. the price can go up if the hair is extra thick or long.
I have detangleing services which come up to about $65 per hour
Hair and scalp treatments start at $45 depend on certain factors.
mobile services ar availble and normally start at about $65 on clean hair, and
on site, set, location, or spa serivces start at $100 per hour
How did you get started in this business?
I grew up in a salon owne by my aunt, I've been in hair shows since the age of five. I've been trained and have worked along side of legends in the hair community.
I've been styling, braiding and weaving since I was 14years old.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My customers have ranged from toddlers to adults, elderly and handicapped. Men, Women, gay, straight, trans etc.
I've styled on stage, behind the camera, celebrities, brides, and beauty pageants.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have recently teamed up with a friend, who's a nurse, we started a foundation to provide better hair and skin care to the comminuty. The Foundation of Youth Wellness org, and we hold events every 3 months, that promote wellness, we provide resources and services to help build self esteem and community.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Pictures are so great in helping a stylist figure out what you actully want in your service.
Be truthful in relaying hair history, and wheather or not your're taking medications. some meds clash with certain services, and also can effect the outcome of certain chemical services as well.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask questions about what they can provide, and the stylist should be able to answer them.
The stlyist should be confident and truthful in what they can do for you.
