La Oaxaquena is a mother-daugher team from Oaxaca, Mexico. We bring the diveristy of Mexican cooking to the table and cook ancestral foods to keep our traditions alive. We know that food brings people together and makes you feel at home. Our moles and tamales are made from scratchs and are absolutely delicous, they will take you back to Mexico.
We are paasionate about culture and foods from our homeland and we love to share and teach people our the deep roots that we have in Oaxaca when it comes to Indigenous cooking. Oaxaca in the cladle of corn and in the age of GMO's is more important than ever to preserve our traditions. We have been cooking in the Bay Area for about 10 years doing festivals, such as First Friday and farmer's market all over the East Bay.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When the customers is lookig for catering we reach out to them to find out more details about what they are looking for, send out a proposal if the custumer approves, we move on and take ke 50% of payment.
