About
30 years experience allowes me to handle nearly every type of photo assignment.
I shoot portraits that range from natural life-style to edgy tech. I've shot interiors for trade journals and interior designers, documentary and travel for education projects. Public Relations photos for many PR firms, including Hill & Knowlton. I've covered events for the Israeli Consolate and AJC. Photograph artworks for the Oakland Museum and many SF art galleries.
I am often referred to clients by concierges at the finer San francisco hotels for event coverage, family pictures and other "last minute" needs.
I'm friendly, funny and comfortable with all people.
And I'm definetely a dog guy.
The people who are my long time clients... my creative colleagues... The bay area with amazing talented, inteligent and interesting folk... The excellent event planners who I love working with... The great educational institutions here that are the nexus of many photo projects I've had the pleasure to shoot, such as portraits of newly minted young doctors at UCSF, The World Education Conference at UC Berkeley, Visiting VIP lectures at Stanford, and countless seminars I've photographed over the last 30 years... The photo workshops I taught... I enjoy everything about the work I do...

How did you get started in this business?
It's a great story! Funny, a little sad and quite ironic. I'll tell you over cocktails sometime.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Smart and creative. Every one of them!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Oh there are many. One with Jim Carey I'm fond of. One with Cortney Cox.... but I've signed Non-Disclosure Agreements so my lips are zipped. But its not just the NDAs...
I DON'T talk about my clients, their parties, what their guests did and I don't post their pictures ANYWHERE. When you are a client you have my full respect... I won't ever embarress or sell out my clients. This is my promise and my word.
