About this pro

30 years experience has allowed me to handle nearly all photo assignments. I've shot interiors for trade journals and interior designers, Travel and Panoramas for education projects funded by the National Science Foundation, Public Relations photo projects for (arguably) the largest PR firm in america: Hill & Knowlton, cover Northern California events for the Israeli Consolate and AJC, photograph artworks for the Oakland Museum-where my wedding work is in their permanent collection (4 large prints purchased for the show in 2003, WEDDINGS: CALIFORNIA STYLE), I am often referred to clients by concierges at San francisco best hotels for event coverage and family pictures. I'm friendly, funny and comfortable with all people. I'm on Linkedin.

The people who are my long time repeat clients, my creative colleagues, the bay area with amazing talented, and inteligent and interesting folk. Amazing event planners who I love working with, the great educational institutions here that are the nexus of many photo projects I've had the pleasure to shoot: Young doctors at UCSF, World Education Conference at UC Berkeley, Visiting VIP lectures at Stanford, and countless seminars I've photographed over the last 30 years at many lovely hotels.  The photo workshops I taught... I enjoy everything about the work I do...

If I can assess what the demands of your assignment are, I can give you a quote then or soon after.

Most assignments are priced by the hours, or days. Preplanning and postproduction charges are usually a small part of the total.

Images are uploaded to a viewing site where the client can view them and download them.  Fast turnaround as needed. So simple.

I've studied at the Worcester Art Museum School and New England School of Photography in Massachusettes,  The San Francisco Art Institute in California, Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

Assignments are very different. I'm happy to offer a quote quickly once I know the details.

Photo sessions start at 250.00 in the studio and 350.00 on location.

How did you get started in this business?

It's a great story! Funny, a little sad and quite ironic. I'll tell you over cocktails sometime.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Smart and creative. Every one of them!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Oh there are many. One with Jim Carey I'm fond of. One with Cortney Cox.... but I've signed Non-Disclosure Agreements so my lips are zipped. But its not just the NDAs...

I DON'T talk about my clients, their parties, what their guests did and I don't post their pictures ANYWHERE. When you are a client you have my full respect... I won't ever embarress or sell out my clients. This is my promise and my word.

What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?

Just ask questions. Thoughtful  conversation will generate the right questions.
