Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Learning any special dietary needs, allergies, and favorites is always my first step in working with new customers. My goal is to learn about the person so that I can 9ffer the best experience possible through food!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 16 years of experience. My highest esteemed job was catering a charity event for former US President Bill Clinton.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge an hourly rate of $50 per hour for private events. Plus the cost of food. Typically a minimum of 4 hours is needed for catering and personal chef services.
How did you get started in this business?
At my grandmothers request, I made my first spice cake. That cake sparked what would become my passion for food services. Once I joined the workforce I knee I wouldn't do anything other than become a chef.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Ive worked with kids, teens, the average couple up to celebrities. 16 years is a long time. Ive seen and accomplished a lot and I am still growing!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently launched a new restaurant venture specializing in LA street foods! Its been an overwhelming amount of support and accolades for the food!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It doesnt have to cost you everything for an elegant experience. Likewise, you should want to pay for the services rendered. Meaning, if you receive excellent service that exceeds your expectations it shouldnt be overpriced but instead, should lead to repeat customers. That is how I build clientele and relationships with my customers.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How much time will my chef have to prepare for my event?
Is my budget realistic in comparison to my request?
