What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I chat with my client, to discover their needs, timeline, issues to highlight or downplay, and make suggestions to solve these issues, and schedule an appointment for either reviewing more of my works, or schedule a shoot date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My Photography training is from Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa, CA, in the 1980's. Since then, I've worked as a Professional Commercial and Architectural photographer.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My standard pricing structure is for a half day minumum, and can be an hourly rate after that, I am fairly priced.
How did you get started in this business?
I wanted to be a Commercial and Architectural Photographer since I was in High School. I assisted many other Phootgraphers, in essence, apprenticing, after complewting my schooling. I've been working ever since, economy allowing.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Advice to give a Customer:
Make sure that the person you hire is more than capable of making great images for you, and still is able to be courteous to all in the work, and maintain a professional attitude and respectful treatment. No one needs to have to work with arrogant prima donnas, do they...?
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
For Architecture: What is the scope of the needs?
Which directions does the entrance or face of the building face (N, S, E, W)? (This determines what time of day the sun might hit that suurface, allowing best photos of that side of the building.
Are the palm trees unbound yet? (Did the ropes fall off yet)
Do you want standard daylight shots, or dramatic Dusk shots?
What kind of style to the photographs do you want?

Who is the audience of these photographs? Purpose of the images? Do I need to match previous work? Who is the designer of the brochure, may I chat with them? Do you need horizontals, or verticals? Really, there's a whole lot of questions to ask, that I tailor to each need.
