Cerise Salon is a full service hair salon in Sacramento. Amy, the owner, is a color specialist, certified by the American Board of Certified Haircolorists.
We believe in the Vidal Sassoon technique in cutting: "Cut the style, not style the cut." -Vidal Sassoon
We have stylists who specialize in blondes, lived in highlights, curly hair, brunettes and reds. We also do many types of extensions and are always learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Cerise Salon we pride ourselves on truly listening to our clients to give them the look they want, or suggesting something of the same feeling that works for their hair, face shape and lifestyle. Every Appointment we start with a consultation to discuss the clients hair and what they are looking for. The first time though we spend more time to try to really understand.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Amy the owner has been in the industry since 1999. She went to Federico Beauty Institute for her cosmetology, after which she went through an intensive year long assisting program. Also during her assisting program took the step of become an American Board Certified Colorist (2nd in Sacramento) and attends ABCH Emergizing Summit biyearly. Which lead to being an educatored of in salon assisting programs in many salons and every assistant who has gone through her program hits the floor ready to pass that test. Amy has also been to advanced haircutting programs at Vidal Sasson Los Angeles, San francisco, and London, and uses these philosphies when educating all stylists. All stylists at Cerise also regularly attend education provided by many top manufactors.

There are multiple stylists at Cerise all of which different experience levels and availablty. So to know what a starting point for a service I advice you to go on Vagaro.com/65 to look at our menu. There maybe an additional fee for extra hair or more color based on what the client is desiring.
