I asked him to pick the location for our photoshoot, and he picked the perfect spot in San Francisco. We had a great time shooting with a variety of backgrounds and ideas. OpenFire Photography is also great with live settings such as musical performances or dance - Drew really captures creative expression very well, honors the subjects vision while also offering his own artistic contribution and ideas.

Frequently asked questions

I always spend as much time as possible getting to know my customer and listen to their ideas. Having clear expectations about what we are trying to create together is vital to coming away with shots we are both excited and happy with.

No formal training in photography, learned it all by doing it and have been slowly growing my client list.

Pricing varies on what equipment I use for the shoot, the amount of editing time, number of final images, and duration of the shoot.

Got my start shooting outdoor renegade parties that were played by local DJ's and eventually was hired to shoot gigs at clubs in SF. From there, I slowly began to get into portrait photography to help them with their digital marketing while also exploring landscape and other styles.

Mostly work with artists and corporate event planners with a few personal clients doing portrait, pregnancy announcement, and landscape photography.

Was hired to shoot a series of events where performers would play music in a space lit with led candles. It's been fun to explore new locations and capture these one of a kind happenings.

Look at their photo examples and make sure their style is in line with what you are looking to end up with. Asking them what gear they have will also help you understand what results you can expect.
