Although I love adventure I also crave security and stability.
That desire for security and stability lead me to a Criminal Justice and Security Intelligence degree. Although justice and serving others is a passion of mine, my creativity struggled to stay reigned in. I found that my dreams didn't want to stay locked inside forever.
Following your dreams is scary but doing what scares you and challenges you allows you to truly live and constantly grow as a human.

I love that photography allows me to meet and connect with a variety of people that come from different backgrounds and are on different paths in life. Not only does it give me a bigger and more meaningful insight into the world we live in and the people we share it with, but it also allows me to capture the beauty and essence of each individual, family, and couple that I come across.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Prior to the session I will either do an in-person or video consultation to get to know my clients and pinpoint exactly what they are looking for. We also go over exactly what they should expect, including location ideas and clothing options.
During our session I like to ask questions and gain an idea of what kind of interests my customers have. This helps me in giving them a finished product that they can truly connect with and like. I also will guide people in different poses from a models perspective if they are unfamiliar with photo-shoots.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been interested in and actively pursuing photography for over 10 years now. Although the training I've received does not show in the form of a certificate or degree, I go for the hands on approach of constantly working to improve this form of art through doing photo-shoots as often as possible and making sure that my customers are satisfied. I have also attended numerous photography conferences and workshops.
How did you get started in this business?
I grew up in a family that focused on art and music. My grandfather was an amazing artist, and one of his arts forms was photography. It came naturally to me and I've been photographing since 2007. I am improving and developing my work consistently.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have had quite the variety of customers- ranging from commercial companies, venues/resturants, families, models, graduating seniors and couples getting married.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask as many questions as you'd like! The more questions the better before hiring a professional because they you'll know exactly what you'll be getting before you hire them.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
"What locations do you have in mind?"
"What do you want to wear? What type of feel do you want these images to portray?"
"What would you like to do with or use the photos for after the session?"
Have ideas of what you want, it doesn't have to be a lot, even a few will help your photographer deliver what you like and want.
