For years we have catered hundreds of events from small private personal events to weddings to large corporate events. We are able to handle various requests.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact us to discuss date, time, location of your event. We can work with you to create the perfect menu for you occasion. Once we have confirmed your menu and what services you need we will email you an invoice. Once you confirm the invoice and make a deposit we will schedule your event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner is the youngest of 5 children who was raised and trained how to cook by a southern belle named Lena Mae Andrews. In addition to the teachings from the owner, several of our cooks have been professionally trained and certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing various depending on what services you are requesting. However the food prices remain consistent. We also have a private dinning/banquet room if you need a place to host a meeting or other small event with up to 50 people

How did you get started in this business?
Since the owner was 5 years old he was in the kitchen with his Texas raised mother Lena Mae. From the time he was a kid to his abulthood he always had a desire to open a restaurant to share his love for cooking. In 2009 he open his 1st restaurant and in 2013 Lena’s Soul Food was opened.

Over the years we have worked with small private events, weddings, to large corporate events.

We recently catered an event for a large transit company in San Francisco for over 200 people.
