About
I’ve been drawn to photography my entire life. There’s something about catching a moment in time that made a lasting impression on me as a child. I can recall with perfect detail the feeling of sneaking my Grandma’s old Coolpix, running around the yard chasing anything I could catch on camera, from birds and lizards to my crazy boy cousins. As I grew up, I moved on to more willing photo subjects, took photography classes, and watched every photography tutorial I could find online. But it wasn’t until I began traveling that I really started to hone my craft. I want to share this higher level of expertise while maintaining a fun and relaxed environment for my clients.
I like to meet up for coffee to get to know each other a little bit, because there’s nothing more awkward than showing up to a session and not vibing with your photographer. This is really just a low key chat about what kind of photos you are looking for, an opportunity share inspiration ideas, and what you can expect from me and my process. This also helps me get a little context about your personality and lifestyle, so I can give you the best experience possible. Bonus-- when shoot day rolls around, you don't have some stranger standing there with a camera pointed in your face, you have a friend standing there with a camera, HYPING YOU UP!! I want you to feel confident and comfortable in front of my camera, having a good time and looking damn good doing it!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client I like to set up a meeting where we can talk about what kind of photos they would like to see come from the shoot, what they can expect from me, and what I'm looking for from them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took a couple of photography courses in school, but I learn best by doing and have had a camera in my hands for the last 5 years always taking photos of friends on crazy adventures around the world.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I have three standard packages. Each has an hourly and a number of photos. additional photos can be purchased. all photos are chosen by the photographer and delivered in a digital gallery.
How did you get started in this business?
I've always dreamed of making a living taking photographs so I made it happen!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
This is our livelihood and a ton of work goes on behind the scenes to ensure you get the best photos possible. Our prices are set where they are to accommodate all the work we put in every day researching, location scouting, upgrading equipment, and perfecting editing techniques. Please take this into consideration.
