Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communicate with the customer to determine what they really need, the timeframe, other details such as delivery of images and other photo products. When all the important information are known, then I can give a fair and accurate quote.
The next step is to schedule the shoot.
Then the photo session itself.
The editing and processing of images comes next and may take a considerable amount of time considering the number of images needed or generated from the shoot. Lastly, it's the delivery of the finished images and other photo products.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My passion for photography has spanned decades since my start when I was just 17; and that includes education through books and workshops, and actual photography. So at this point, there's a lot of invaluable experience I can rely on. But experience and to be technically correct are not enough. One has to have that creative ability to create wonderful images. Artistic ability can be learned but I'm thankful I have that as a natural talent.
There's always that drive to create the perfect image. My image making is guided by my creative instincts and experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
It's hard to quantify or price a particular job, because specifics differ a lot depending on a person's need, location, and other requirements like whether or not I have to use lighting equipment, more lenses, extra camera bodies, etc.
