What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I inquire as to the customers' detailed preferences (regarding background, angles, desired aspect ratio, and focal distance)
Then I start shooting and generally things evolve upward from there!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained in Photography/Videography as well as Graphic Design from a young age and have run a service where I do exactly that across Boulder for the last 10 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
$75 for the first hour, $50 thereon out. I charge extra if there is extensive photo manipulation but generally that is included as part of the photography service.
How did you get started in this business?
My dad taught me to use a camera and computers when I was very young and I ended up as an IT/Digital Media person.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I shot several peoples' portraits at Cheesman Park, in Denver. The event went extremely well, and I gained a new appreciation for Denver life upon seeing the park itself full of people who were just there to enjoy the day.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Look at their recent work.
