I offer personalized service, have flexible hours and reasonable prices. I utilize state of the art equipment and software when performing photo sessions, and I offer fast turn around times from session to viewing images. I have an extensive background in the photographic industry that includes the Nikon School of Photography, Kodak Institue of Photography and countless seminars and training with master photographers from around the world.
I consider myself a people person. I love my craft and the interaction I have with my clients. Most of all I enjoy the reaction from my clients when they view their images. I preserve time and memories in the images I take.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon initial contact with a new customer, whether by phone or email, I always try to be as accomodating as possible when setting times or dates for an interview or an actual photo session. Upon face to face meeting, I will try and learn as much as possible of the person I am meeting and share with them my knowledge and talents as it pertains to professional photography and give them the sense they have come to the right place.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had an extensive amount of training and experience in the field of professional photography. I began by a self taught approach, and then attended numerous week long photography courses with Kodak, Nikon and numerous established and recognized professional photographers from all over the United States and the world. I was a member of the CT Professional Photographers Association for many years and during that time I won numerous awards from that Association including Photographer of the Year twice, Best in Show Awards for print competitions and general service awards for being an active member of the CTPPA.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My in studio sitting fee is currently $175.00 for a 60 minute session. Professional fees for out of studio work are based on travel distances, length of photo shoot, and quoted on an idividual basis.
How did you get started in this business?
I started photographing as a hobby in my twenties and family and friends admired my work. This gave me the incentive to learn more and do more with my camera. My first wedding job was for a fellow co-worker over forty years ago and my second was for his bestman's wedding. six months after that. I attended several photography schools and seminars to improve my craft and I began a formal business in photography to make some extra money. I have photographed, people, places, events and architecture as part of my business over the years and I have settle mostly on portraiture for the last six or seven years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide range of people from infants to the senior citizen. Businesses and Corporations. Anyone who needs photographic services or work, I can usually provide the type of photography they are seeking.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was hired to photograph a birthday party in honor of a 100 year old woman who also happened to be a school teacher in the original one room school house in my home town. She was sharp as a tac.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Check out their websites, examine their images, have a one on one conversation with them before hiring them and ask for references.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How important will the photo session be to you. If it is, then you want to hire the photographer that has the same feeling as you and he or she will take the time to make you feel important.
